Download¶
See also Transfers in general.
Segmented Downloads¶
Increase the download speed by enabling the segmented downloads option within Preferences → Transfers → General → Downloads → Segmented download with multiple connections for file. Files larger that 100MB will be split into segments and downloaded over multiple connections.
The segments will be merged automatically after all parts are downloaded. Merging the segments may take a considerable amount of time.
Note
The segments can only be merged successfully if all parts are downloaded. If some parts are missing the downloaded segments are saved within a folder and the file can’t be restored unless you redownload the file or try to Resume the failed transfer.
